Location - down a dirt path about 2 miles off Peterson Rd (SR-1219).


Directions: From Clinton Take Hwy 701 South until you pass Butlers Crossroads, go about 1.8 mile turn right on Peterson Road (SR-1219) then go about 2 miles and turn left on a dirt road Go for at least 1 mile (at the present time as of this writing there are 2 gates to be crossed before reaching the first dirt path). Take this path to which will end up at the cemetery.

Revolutionary Soldier 1775 - 1783. To the memory of a Revolutionary War hero, Lieu. Byus Boykin 1747 - 1812, his Wife, Sarah Peebles Boykin 1763 -1848; pioneer colonial citizens, large land owners. They loved this land and had a big part in developing this area of Sampson County. These and others are buried in this cemetery. This memorial erected by descendants of the Boykins in 1971.
