429    GREGORY FAMILY (Hill Airy Plantation)

Location - off hwy 15 north of Oxford on the Gregory Farm.

Directions: Drive Hwy 15 N from Oxford; past Gela Road to the left. Go a short distance - there is a paved lane with an elaborate locked iron gate on the right. This is the Gregory Farm. The cemetery is in a field to the right of the lane. Herbert Gregory is the present owner of the cemetery property.

Nancy's husband, Francis Roger Gregory (26 Oct 1807 - 23 Jun 1854) is buried in the Gregory-Lewis Family Cemetery (403) nearby off Simpson Hil Road.

It is possible other family members have been buried here since 1980. However, word is that this is a very private family who would not allow anyone on their property to visit the cemetery.
