Location - off Hwy 96 about 8 miles south of Oxford on the E.B. Averett farm.

Directions: From Oxford, drive approximately 8 miles on Hwy 96S toward Wilton. Turn right into the lower drive and follow the path to the packhouse/stable. Park and walk approximately 0.25 mile through the woods. The cemetery is on a hill toward the right. The E.B. Averett Jr. Plantation (originally the Edward Chambers and Julia Brent Allen Plantation) was purchased in 1823 by the Allens and has had family members living on it ever since that time. The back side of the cemetery are graves of blacks and slaves and the front side, beginning in the early 1800's, were Allen's and Hester's.
