Directions: From Warrenton courthouse on S Main St, travel 0.1 mile and turn right onto Franklin St and SR 1001 (Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Blvd.). Travel 4.3 miles and turn right. Travel 0.1 mile to the abandoned cemetery on the left of the path in a clump of trees.
Funeral home markers and fieldstones mark some of the 25 or more graves. There are no tombstones. This is thought to be the Hawkins Carter Cemetery. Race-African American.
