Directions: From Warrenton courthouse on S Main St and Hwy 401 S, travel 0.1 mile and turn right onto Franklin St and SR 1001 (Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Blvd). Travel 8.2 miles and turn right at the Deerfield Development sign. Travel approximately 0.5 mile and bear left. Travel 0.2 mile to the old Abernathy homesite. Five or more unmarked graves were noted. Race-White.
This may have been the location of the original Brown's Church.
