Directions - from Raleigh: From Interstate 40, take the Lake Wheeler Rd. exit and travel south about 8 miles until you come to the intersection of Optimist Farm Rd. and Lake Wheeler Rd. A hundred yards further south will bring you to the tidy brick church on the right side of the road, next to a pond. Behind the church is the cemetery. This is an African American congregation.

Unfortunately, the cemetery is in a state of severe neglect, unkempt, and with graves scattered about at random. A number of graves are unmarked.
