Directions: From intersection of US Hwy 52 and NC Hwy 268 in Pilot Mtn, go south on US Hwy 52 for 4.8 miles to the Pinnacle exit. At end of the exit ramp turn right on Perch Rd (SR 2065) and go 1.45 miles to Stony Ridge Rd (SR 2048) on the right. Go about 0.95 miles on Stony Ridge Road. The cemetery is on private property in the woods on the right - about 200 yards from the road. It is surrounded by a wrought iron fence and is overgrown.

This is the homeplace of WW-1 Gen. Henry Wolff Butner. He served as head of the Panama Canal Dept., and Camp Butner, NC was named in honor of him.
