200 SYKES FAMILY CEMETERY (No. 1)
Location - In Bingham Township west of Buckhorn Road (SR #1114) about 1 mile north of its intersection with Bradshaw Quarry Rd - Arthur Minnis Rd (SR #1115). A curving gravel road beyond a locked gate leads west and then south; the cemetery is adjacent to the western edge of the road. Private property.

Survey - Surveyed on February 28, 1974. Margaret Jones of the Orange County Environment & Resource Conservation Department and Milton Forsyth visited the site on January 26, 2006 through the courtesy of the owner of the surrounding land, Dr. Earl N. Mitchell. They found the cemetery essentially unchanged from the 1974 survey and provided photographs.
Graves, Unmarked - There were some 29 unmarked graves, including 22 rough headstones [EXAMPLE] and 6 depressions.
Status [1974] - Cemetery is a small rectangular area, 69' X 85', containing .15 acres, covered with trees, undergrowth, and a dense carpet of periwinkle, on the land formerly belonging to the C. Frank Sykes heirs, now to Prof. Earl N. Mitchell. Some 29 unmarked graves are visible, including 22 rough headstones and 6 depressions.
