Survey - This cemetery was surveyed November 4, 1974. Milton Forsyth visited and photographed the cemetery in February 2005 and revised the location directions. No fence was standing and the area was accessable.
Graves, Marked - The cemetery now contains 26 marked graves in neat uncrowded rows.
Graves, Unmarked - The cemetery contains at least 162 graves marked by rough stones, rusty funeral markers, (one states 'Aged 84 Yrs.') and visible depressions.
Comment - Many of the surnames in the cemetery, Johns(t)on, are descendants of the slaves of the Johnston 'Green Hill' plantation on Turkey Farm Road.
Current Status - The large unkempt, overgrown cemetery is still fenced in on 3 sides. The fence on the west side has apparently been destroyed by power line clearance.
