105 CABE, WILLIAM CEMETERY (1828)
Location - In Eno Township behind a residence at the end of Cabe Ford Road (SR #1570), about 200 feet SSW of the residence, just beyond the edge of the woods. Private property.

Survey - Surveyed in December, 1971 by Jean Bradley Anderson, the former resident, whose original notes describing the 3 graves are preserved below. She also prepared a plat of the cemetery. Margaret Jones of the Orange County Environment & Resource Conservation Department and Milton Forsyth visited and photographed the cemetery on 8 Mar 2006 with the permission of the property owners, Mr. Stewart Fisher and Ms. Melinda Ruley.
Graves, Marked - There were 2 marked graves.
Graves, Unmarked - In 2006 there were 8 graves marked with fieldstones, and possibly other burials.
- Cabe, Jemima ? (b. - d. )
A depression in the ground next to William's grave suggests his wife Jemima may be buried there.
- Cabe, William (b. - d. 18 Jun 1828)
Stone reads: "W. Cabe" - The head and footstone are identical in shape; the headstone is larger. The inscription is on west side of the stone. The grave is a little over 6-1/2 feet long and is 5 or so ft. from [the remains of] the great oak tree. Footstone.
- Claytor, Rachel Cabe (b. 29 Aug 1805 - d. 15 Mar 1855)
Daughter of William and Jemima Cabe. Headstone and footstone are of a whitish granite and in excellent condition. The footstone is much smaller than the headstone but the same shape. Her grave is about the same size as her father's. The inscription is on the west side of the stone.
