      In 1972, Harold W. Broughton (p. 70-78) recorded 282 grave markers. On 27 May 1994, Audrey O. Heiser recorded 96 grave markers not previously recorded. Will Heiser noted some markers recorded by Broughton that were not found by Reba Cheek or Audrey Heiser. A total of 414 grave markers have been recorded. In 1991, Brooks Mashburn was reinterred in Putnam Friends Cemetery, Putnam, North Carolina.
