Location - Lee County, Pocket Township, formerly Chatham County. On the east side of SR 1007, N Plank Road, 2.0 miles north of NC 42. Across from Logan Farm Rd., near Gulf. Address is 0 Plank Rd. This cemetery is just north of the old Palmer homeplace, called Oorondale.

This family cemetery was recorded by Kathy Brooks Jones in Buffalo Creek Chronicles, Vol. I, 1984. Allen Dew surveyed the site in March 2017 and recorded 17 burials. In December 2022, Kelly Gomez visited the cemetery along with Palmer family relatives who were given permission by the property owner, Michael Palmer. Additional burials have been added from Kelly's photos of the site. Newer, granite markers have been added for many of the burials. Some of the markers recorded in the earlier surveys were not photographed in 2025.
