      In 2004 Jane Pyle found five grave markers and noted other fieldstones propped up near trees in a grove with periwinkle. Julie King-McDaniel found and photographed three marked graves in 2023.

      This location is the original site of Mt. Hermon AME Church. The original church burned, and the church relocated to its current site off of Goldston-Pittsboro Road (approximately 1.5 miles from original location). See Q14.1 for that cemetery.

      Markers damaged: Fieldstone markers for graves appear to have been moved-perhaps for mowing.
