In 1992 Gertha Clark reported an abandoned Alston cemetery. Will Heiser identified a 1961 deed noting the cemetery but did not visit the site. Boe Goodwin located the site and photographed it in August 2025.

Miscellaneous information: Cemetery described in property deeds 560/813, 272/371. According to death certificate, Norman's parents were Oren Alston and Nettie Crump. Wife Rebecca Atkins.
