      Location - New Hope Township. On the west side of SR 1008, Beaver Creek Road, 0.7 mile south of US 64 at Wilsonville. Address is 724 Beaver Creek Rd., Apex, NC 27502.

      This is Reinterment Site No. 7, described in Final Report for
      Relocation of Cemeteries, Group IV, for B. Everett Jordan Dam
      and Lake, North Carolina, prepared by the U. S. Army Corps of
      Engineers, 1976. Exhibit G for tract No. 419-C shows 197 grave
      markers [Note 28], and 99 unknown graves were reinterred
      from Ebenezer Methodist Church Cemetery (L38.1) to this
      cemetery in 1976. The Corps Final Report for Relocation of
      Cemeteries, Group III, page 4, shows 3 graves were reinterred
      from the Aler Mitchell Cemetery (L27.1) (Tract 748-C) to this
      cemetery (L19.1) [Note 30]. Mildred V. Williams, Corps of
      Engineers, reported that E. Thrailkill, Mike Thrailkill, and J. B.
      Thrailkill were reinterred from Tract 748-C.

      In June 1999, Audrey O. Heiser recorded 236 grave markers,
      including those reinterred, [Note 28]. The three reinterred
      Thrailkills are shown only by old wooden slabs. The cemetery
      was inventoried and photographed on 5 Nov 2022 by Susan
      Hyson, Beth Higgins, Mary Betts, Clara Robertson, Barbara
      Guest, Chris Guest, and Linda Cullip, under the direction of Kelly
      Gomez.
