In 2003, John Clauser marked upwards of 250 grave sites marked by fieldstones. At that time, the property owner had petitioned the county commissioners for permission to reinter the graves. That owner eventually sold the parcel and the petition to reinter was dropped. From the St. Bartholomews Episcopal Church Register, 1832-1903, Martha Hope Smith recorded eight persons who died while in the Poor House and were buried in the Poor House Cemetery.
