In the 1970's, the Corps of Engineers reinterred 2 graves from Chatham County Site 1805-C, to the Mason Family Cemetery, Finley Golf Course, Chapel Hill, North Carolina. See Corps of Engineers Final Report for Relocation of Cemeteries, Group III, B. Everett Jordan Dam and Lake, North Carolina, page 4 and Drawing Exhibit D, Sheet 15 of 15.
On 5 April 1992, Will M. Heiser found iron fence around 2 graves with plaque on the fence which reads:
"Graves of Solomon Morgan, d. 1847 and his wife Ann Morgan, d. 1851, Parents of Mary Elizabeth Mason."
