Location - off west side of Dick's Creek off Pigott Rd.


Located behind the Chadwick Family Cemetery on the west side of Dicks Creek near its confluence with Straits. Also known as Bell's Point Cemetery. Proceeding east on US 70 about 6.5 miles from the intersection with NC 101 in Beaufort, turn right (south) onto Harkers Island Road (SR 1332) just east of Otway, then left (east) onto Straits Road (SR 1440) after about 6 miles, and right (south) onto Pigott Road after about 0.3 mile). The cemetery may be accessed from the property at 380 Pigott Road (which was the location of By the Sea Farms in 2006), about 0.3 mile east of the 90 degree turn in Pigott Road or down a driveway about 0.1 mile farther east. The cemetery is about 0.2 mile south of Pigott Road.

Note: According to Giles Willis. Jr., Culpepper Pigott and others in his family are likely buried here and there are other cemeteries adjacent to this cemetery and the Chadwick Family Cemetery.
