      Location - off Lickskillet Rd (SR-1620) about 3.8 miles from Hwy 401 S.


      Directions: From Warrenton courthouse on S Main St and Hwy 401 S, travel 11 miles and turn left onto SR 1620 (Lickskillet Rd). Travel 3.8 miles and turn left onto a dirt path leading to the plantation site. The exact location of the original grave is unknown. There is no information about other graves at Esmeralda plantation house. In 1905, Gen. Green's remains were moved to Fairview Cemetery in Warrenton, N. C. Race-White.
