374    SHEARIN, JOHN R. - RIGGAN CEMETERY (Adcock Dead End Rd.)

Location - off Adcock Dead End Rd (SR-1338) about 0.5 mile from Church Hill Rd (SR-1335).


Directions: From Warrenton courthouse on Hwy 158 E Bus, travel 6 miles and turn left onto SR 1335 (Church Hill Rd). Travel 3 miles and turn right onto SR 1338 (Adcock Dead End Rd). Travel 0.4 mile and turn right onto driveway and travel 0.2 mile to the plantation house. The cemetery is on the left about 300 yards behind a small house, the home of former North Carolina Governor William Miller. Cement blocks chain separate the graves from the open field. Several unmarked graves were noted. Race-White.
