Directions: From Warrenton courthouse on S Main St and Hwy 401 S, travel 7.9 miles and turn right onto SR 1133 (Shepherd Rd). Travel 3.6 miles and turn right onto SR 1134 (Vicksboro Rd). Travel 0.1 mile to Vicksboro and turn left onto SR 1525 (Cross Creek Rd). Turn left onto the first driveway. The cemetery is located behind and to the left of the house. Race-White.

Note: This cemetery is on land owned by Tempie Pendergrass Allen. The information marked with * and the following information was obtained from Mrs. Allen and her brother, Floyd Pendergrass, great grandchildren of Thomas Pendergrass: Thomas married Sallie Nuckles on April 1, 1859. Thomas believing he would die during the war asked his brother, William Pendergrass, to marry Sallie and raise his children. Thomas died in 1864 and on December 10, 1865, William and Sallie were married. William and Sallie are buried side by side in the Pendergrass-Ayscue-Abbott Family Cemetery. Thomas and William had a third brother, Richard J Pendergrass, who is buried in the Huff Family Cemetery (now known as Richard Jordan Pendergrass Memorial Cemetery). Mr. Pendergrass stated that his father, William, grandson of Thomas, had hoped to live to be 100 years old and each day he asked if he had made it.
