Location - at the Wake Forest Country Club in the back of the condos/townhomes that overlook the golf course, where the backyards would be.

Directions: Take US 1 North; turn Left onto Club Villas Drive; take to end. Follow the sidewalk heading East. The cemetery sits behind the condos/townhomes. The cemetery is also at the highest part of the land in this area.
Col Ransom Sutherland may be buried here along with members of his family. There are a lot of graves marked by a field stone only.

Colonel Ransom Sutherland, Rev. War Officer, 4th Regiment, NC Continental Line. Guilford Co. Militia. 1740-1822. Wake Forest Landowner, Member of the NC Council of State, Built "Wakefields" in 1790, donated land for Wake Union Church in 1792. Dedicated June 30, 1996.
