Location - from Main Street (US 401) in downtown Fuquay Varina, turn onto West Academy Street (NC 42 W). Go 2.6 miles and turn left onto Piney Grove-Wilbon Road (SR 1101). Go 1.5 miles. The Burton Cemetery is off to the right about 200 yards from the road.

There is a large, very old, cedar tree in the middle of the cemetery. This cemetery bisects the Wake & Harnett County Line. There are some graves marked with metal markers that are no longer readable.
