David's notes: I have stumbled across a small family cemetery while exploring in the woods west of Holly Springs, NC (near Raleigh). It has only one gravestone with script, but looks like about 12 plots. Very obscure, but I have a digital photo of the one stone.
 Betts, David A. (b. - d. 23 Aug 1923) "Tribe of Higgs Chamber 5431-Durham N. C." It has the logo of the Mosaic Templars and the local lodge number. I found that this is a defunct Masonic lodge formed early in the 20th century to benefit African-Americans.
