457    STOKER FAMILY

Location - on a dirt road off White Rock Rd, north of Thurmond.

Directions: take Hwy 21, turn right on Haystack Road and go 0.8 mile. Turn left on White Rock Road. Go 1.8 miles. There will be a dirt road on the right dividing a field. Go 0.5 mile. Passable but rough road in places. Will go through a shallow creek bed and climb up to the cemetery. Cemetery is in the woods. There is a chain across the road but it is not locked and will slip off to allow passage.

The cemetery is on leased out land. The leasor will allow a Cemetery Census person to verify cemetery site but not open to public without permission. Cemetery is surrounded by a concrete block wall. No marker on any of the roads about the cemetery.

Cemetery is maintained by family members.

Daughter of William and Louisa Stoker. Married Frank Lloyd 24 Dec 1869.
2. Stoker, Bertie A.   (b. 29 May 1895 - d. 24 Jul 1922)
Daughter of William David and Julia Stoker. Reportedly died from a botched appendicitis operation.
3. Stoker, C. D.   (b. 14 Sep 1888 - d. 27 May 1890)
May be a child of William David and Julia Stoker.
4. Stoker, Calvin Coolege   (b. 1 Sep 1926 - d. 1 Sept 1926)
Parents unknown.
5. Stoker, Garland F.   (b. 17 Mar 1890 - d. 19 Aug 1912)
Son of William David and Julia Stoker. He drowned.

12. Stoker, Thomas A.   (b. 1841 - d. 19 Nov 1862)
Date of death incorrect. Stone replaced many years after his death on 19 Sep 1862. Was killed in Civil war. He was in the Confederate States Army and sent home to die.
13. Stoker, Thomas Arvil   (b. 12 Feb 1914 - d. 12 Apr 1914)
Parents unknown but suggestions are that one of Thomas A. Stoker's nieces, named her son after him. Hear say.
14. Stoker, William   (b. 1813 - d. 6 Nov 1868)
Son of Allen and Mary Stoker. Born in Stanly, NC. Married Louisa Hendricks in 1840. Father of Thomas Allen, Jane Ann, Sarah L., Julie H., R. Ellen and William David Stoker.
15. Stoker, William David   (b. 30 Dec 1861 - d. 23 Nov 1963)
Son of William and Louisa Stoker. Husband to Julia J. Thompson Stoker. Was 2 months short of 102 years when he died. Farmer.
16. Wilmoth, Robert Ellen Stoker   (b. 12 Apr 1859 - d. 2 Mar 1937)
Daughter of William and Louisa Stoker. Wife of Ben Wilmoth. Known to nephews and nieces as Aunt Bob.
