      Directions: From intersection of Main St and East Pine St in Mt Airy (US Post Office on corner), go east on E. Pine St for 4.50 miles and turn left on N.E. Pine St (N.E. Pine, or NCSR 1748, is a loop and this is the 2nd entrance). Then immediately take the gravel driveway up the hill for approx 1/10 mile to a sharp curve to the right. The cemetery is located in the woods on the right..

      There are a few unmarked graves along with the following legible stones: Joshua F. Hicks, Pvt, Co. E, 1st NC Troops, CSA, (b. 9-7-1840, d. 12-19-1914); Joshua's wife Nancy E. Combs (b. 4-29-1840, d. 12-10-1931); John H. Culler (b. 6-18-1900, d. 10-8-1925); Fannie L. Culler (b. 5-15-1868, d. 4-28-1931); Walter F. Caudle (b. 4-17-1928, d. 9-2-1929); plus one unreadable stone said to be twin sons of Joshua and Nancy Hicks..
