      Directions: From intersection of NC Hwy 21 (Business) and NC Hwy 21 By-pass at Poplar Springs Rd in Elkin, go east on Poplar Springs Rd (SR 1001) for 3 miles and turn right on Fax Welborn Road (SR 1131). Then go .2 miles until you see a fenced-in dog training area on the left. The field stone markers for the cemetery are under a power line right-of-way inside the fenced in area about 75 yards from the gate of the fence.

      Occupants of this graveyard are unknown except the surname of (Brindle). The property owner and others stated they have always heard it referred to as the Brindle Graveyard. There are 4 field stones and one other that was knocked over by a power company bush hog clearing brush..
