Surveyed by Sue Cannady Barefoot in January 2010.

This Cemetery has a sign stating Hardy Cannady Family Cemetery on Bass Lake Road about 4 miles west of Clinton.

There are only 2 tombstone markers in this cemetery and they are: Hardy Cannady, Samuel A. Cannady and Jeanette Matilda Spell Cannady. The other graves have a small rock in the place of a marker. This cemetery is located off the road up a path and is not visible from Bass Lake Road.

The list of family members in this cemetery has been handed down for generations in the Cannady family.

NOTE: Association and circumstances of those buried here was written down by the late Clarice Cannady Owens who was one of the family members that helped move Hardy Cannady's marker to this site back in the 1950s or 1960s. She shared this information with Sue Cannady Barefoot back in 2003.
