      Location - about 6.5 miles south of Roxboro off Hwy 157 on Poindexter Rd just north of Hurdle Mills.

      Entrance is made from Poindexter Road through the driveway of an old house site on right, go over the knoll and out into the field toward the old cabin. The graves can be seen from the highway and are in a grove of large trees across in front of the cabin.

      William Blalock and his wife were probably the first graves here, Nancy Blalock Blalock died 1812 and was one of the first graves.

      In 1993 J. Burch and Mary Gordon Blaylock erected a memorial marker in this cemetery showing the names of some of the descendants of Millington and Thomas Blalock that are believed to have been buried here.This marker is 20" square and 36" tall, with names on all four sides of the stone.
