This burial ground is of John Dalrymple (1726-1805) and Margaret Gordon Dalrymple (1736-1796) and many of their descendants. John and Margaret emigrated from Scotland circa 1775 and settled in this area of North Carolina. John and Margaret's gravestones are missing as are many others.

The burial ground is on private pasture land owned by the residents at 3800 Lee Ave.
