Location - Cleveland.
Travel west from Smithfield on Hwy 210, and turn right on to SR 1010. Travel to SR 1913, Swift Creek road & turn right. Travel approximately 1 mile to the intersection with SR 1578, Short Journey road. Turn right on a dirt path just beyond the first house. The cemetery is about 0.5 mile down this path on the left at a big sweet gum tree. This was the home place of M D Johnson and possibly the home of his parents Jarret T & Susan Johnson. The area is about 50x50 but only a few stones remain. Mr. Linwood Johnson remembers many wooden markers here when he was a young man. 9 marked graves. Many unmarked graves.
