      Travel SR 1010 west from Smithfield to SR 1501, turn right. Go 1 mile to SR 1573, turn left. Go about 1 mile to a dirt path on the right, to the Powell home. The cemetery is on the right side of the path in a clump of weeds & trees. Hardy D Sanders was a Baptish Minister much respected in Johnston county. Richmond Sanders was the father of Hardy Sanders and this land came to Hardy from his father Richmond. Richmond and his wife Charlotte Tomlinson are possibly buried in here. Unkept. 8 marked graves. 7 known unmarked graves.
