      Location - Smithfield.


      In the southwest part of Smithfield near the Neuse River. It has been destroyed for many years. The Smithfield Herald Article of 8 Feb 1916 mentions five graves and lists the inscriptions. The stones were cut by a firm in Norwalk, CT. Loverd Bryan Was the Son of Needham Bryan, Esq who died 1786/87 and is possibly buried here. The stones have disappeared and only the record of the cemetery remains. 5 graves.

      • aged 41 years. son of Loverd & Elizabeth Bryan
  4. Green, Leah   (b. Unknown - d. Unknown)
      • (in grateful rememberance of Leah Green this stone is erected by Elizabeth Collier, the child of her adoption)
  5. N B   (b. Unknown - d. Unknown)
      • possibly stone of Needham Bryan Esq, died 1786/87. husband of Sarah. father of Loverd, Clement, Benjamin & Sarah Bryan
