  1. Ayscue, Infant   (b. 1917 - d. 18 Feb 1917)
      • Greensboro Daily News, Monday,February 19, 1917. The infant son of J. Z. Aysque died at 1:30 o'clock yesterday morning at the house of his parents, No. 80 Church Street, Pomona. The funeral was conducted at the residence this afternoon with internment in the Pomona cemetery.
  2. Burgess, Infant   (b. 1917 - d. 8 Aug 1917)
      • Greensboro Daily Record, Wednesday, August 8, 1917. The infant child of Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Burgess died yesterday morning at the home of its parents at Pomona and was buried in the Pomona cemetery.
  3. Coleman, Rether Louise   (b. 1909 - d. 1 Dec 1915)
      • Greensboro Daily Record,December 2, 1915. The funeral services of little Rether Louise Coleman, the six year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Coleman of Columbia, SC who was found dead in her bed yesterday after having retired in apparent good health, will be held this afternoon at 4 o'clock from the residence of (her aunt) Mrs. Tucker 32 Maple Street, Revolution. Interment will follow in Pomona Cemetery.
  4. Combs, Minnie E. Wentz   (b. 20 Aug 1884 - d. 21 Feb 1939)
      • Wife of J.C. Combs. Eldest child of Ambrose Tilroe Wentz and Mary Jane Secrest Wentz.
  5. DeHart, Melvin   (b. unknown - d. 20 Jun 1920)
      • Greensboro Daily News, Monday, June 21, 1920. Melvin, the young son of Mr. and Mrs. R. J. DeHart died at his parents home, Pomona, yesterday morning at 6:30 o'clock following an illness with memingitis. The funeral will be held from the residence this afternoon at 2 o'clock followed by internment in Pomona Cemetery.
  6. Eden, Geneva Mae Lawson "Nevie"   (b. 27 Sep 1907 - d. 14 Jan 1945)
      • Daughter of David Carter Lawson and Mary Jane Brown Lawson. Was one of ten children and the only daughter to live to child-bearing age. Died of Tuberculosis.
  7. Eury, Jacob Z.   (b. 24 Jan 1856 - d. 8 Mar 1921)
      • To him we trust a place is given among the saints with Christ in heaven.
  8. Horton, W. W. (Mrs)   (b. Abt 1895 - d. 28 Nov 1929)
      • Greensboro Daily record, Thursday Evening, Nov. 28, 1929. Mrs. W. W. Horton, 34, of Charlotte died this morning at 3 o'clock at a local hospital following an illness of a few days. Mrs. Horton came to Greensboro last week to attend the funeral of her mother, Mattie Moser, and was stricken while here. Funeral services will be eld tomorrow afternoon at 2 0'clock from the home of her brother, G. T. Moser 22, Church Street, Pomona.Conducted by Rev. B. F. Peeler, Pastor of New Garden Friends Metting. Interment will be in the cemetery at Pomona. Mrs. Horton leaves her husband, W. W. Horton, Chalotte; one daughter, Bertha Horton, Charlotte; three brothers, R. W. Moser, Charlotte; G.T. Moser, Greensboro, and E. B. Moser, West Virgina.
  9. Hullander, Myrtle May   (b. Mar 1915 - d. Jan 1916)
      • Greensboro Daily News,Tuesday,February 1, 1916. Funeral Services over the remains of Myrtle May, 10 months old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. N. W. Hullander, were held at the residence at Pomona Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, Rev. Mr. Smith officiating. Interment was made in the Pomona cemetery.
  10. Jenkins, Infant   (b. unknown - d. 21 Apr 1927)
      • Infant son of Frank and Mamie Jenkins.
  11. Lawson, Martin Dale   (b. 26 Jan 1945 - d. 6 Feb 1945)
      • Son of William Henry Clay Lawson and Nellie Louise Gray Lawson. Cause of Death: Severe birth defect. Spinabifida.
  12. Moser, Mattie (Mrs)   (b. unknown - d. 20 Nov 1929)
      • Greensboro Daily record, Thursday Evening, Nov. 21, 1929. Funeral services for Mrs. Mattie Moser, whose death occurred yesterday, were held this afternoon at 2 o'clock from the late residence in the Pomona village. Internment was in the cemetery there.
  13. Payne, Infant   (b. 1916 - d. 4 May 1916)
      • Greensboro Daily Record, Monday June 5, 1916. The infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Payne died at 6 o'clock Sunday morning. The funeral was held yesterday afternoon and the internment was in Pomona Cemetery.
  14. Phillips, Joseph John   (b. 22 Jun 1846 - d. 3 Mar 1915)
      • Husband of Mary Melinda Phillips. First person to be buried in the Pomona Cemetery. Greensboro Daily Record, March 2, 1915. Mr. J.J. Phillips Citizen of Pomona Died Last Night- Funeral For Tomorrow Afternoon. Mr. J. J. Phillips died at 11:15 o'clock last night at his home in Pomona Village. He was 68 years of age. The funeral will be conducted from the residence by Rev. Mr. Vestal tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock. The internment will be made in the Pomona Cemetery, and will be the first burial taking place there. The deceased is survived by the following children: Mr. L. O. Phillips, May, SC: Mr.H. C. Phillips, Burlington; Mr. W. A. Phillips, Alberta; Messrs G.C. and J. L. Phillips, Pomona; Mrs. O. M. Osborne, Pomona; Mrs. J. H. Young Jamestoen and Mrs. R. W. Melvin, Pomona.

  17. Sheffield, Calvin   (b. Aug 1915 - d. 14 Oct 1915)
      • Greensboro Daily News, Friday, Oct, 15, 1915. Calvin, two months old child of Mr. and Mrs. W. D. Scheffield, of Sanford, died yesterday morning at 7 oclock at the home of Mr. and Mrs. W. D. Newell at Pomona. The deceased and parents were visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Newell when the child was stricken with the illness which proved fatal. The funeral services were held yesterday morning at 10 o'clock and interrment took place in the Pomona cemetery.
  18. Sheffield, Rhoda Frances   (b. Aug 1915 - d. 24 Oct 1915)
      • Greensboro Daily News, Sunday, October 24, 1915. Rhoda Frances Sheffield, the 2 and a half months old daughter of Mr.and Mrs. P. L. Sheffield, of Moore County died at the home of her Grandfather W. M. Newell, Pomona, yesterday, Saturday were conducted from the home of W. M. Newell, of Pomona, yesterday morning at 3 o'clock. Funeral services will be conducted this afternoon at 4 o'clock and Internment will be in the Pomona Cemetery. Greensboro Daily News, Monday, October 25, 1915. Funeral services over the remains of Rhoda Frances, 2 months old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. P. L. Sheffield, who died Saturday were conducted from the home of W. M. Newell, Pomona, yesterday afternoon at 4 o'clock Internment followed at the Pomona Cemetery.

      • Greensboro Daily Record, December 16, 1916. Blueford Smith, the year and a half old son of Mr. and Mrs. Ruffin Smith died this morning at 2 o'clock at the home, Pomona. The funeral will be hels tommoeeow afternoon and the internment will be made in the Pomona Cemetery.
  20. Snow, Treo   (b. 12 Sep 1913 - d. 26 Jul 1915)
      • Greensboro Daily News,Tuesday,July 27, 1915. Treo Snow, the 22 months old daughter of Mr. and Mrs.L. H. Snow. Pomona, died yesterday morning at 2 o'clock at the home of the parents. Funeral services will be held at the home this morning at 10:30 o'clock and interrment will follow in the Pomona cemetery.
  21. Stanley, Obrey   (b. July 1920 - d. 11 Feb 1921)
      • Greensboro Daily News, Friday, February 11. 1921. Orbrey Stanley, the seven months son of Mr. and Mrs. J. N. Stanley dies last night at the home of his parents at 59 Middle Street, Pomana. The child had been ill for three weeks. Funeral services were held at the home this afternoon, conducted by Rev. Mr. Ryan. Intermment followed in the Pomona cemetery.
  22. Taylor, Willie F.   (b. May 1917 - d. 4 Nov 1918)
      • Greensboro Daily Record,Tuesday, November 5, 1918. Willie f. Taylor, the 18 months son of Mr. and Mrs. Z. F. Taylor died at the home of his parents at Pomona Mills yesterday at 12 o'clock. He is survived by his Father and mother, six sisters and four brothers. Funeral services was held this morning at the residence at 10 o'clock. Interrnment will follow in Pomona cemetery.
