This cemetery allegedly contains the graves of James and Nancy Leigh Bennett of Bennett Place fame as well as of John Neal (born c. 1790). The only surviving markers are those of William G. Bennett (1883-1896) and Sophia, wife of Chas. Bennett (20 June 1812 - 20 Aug. 1896). Rough fieldstones mark the head and foot of half a dozen or more other graves. Canvassed by Jean Anderson (1980).
