      In February 1984, Martha Harrington reported 12 grave markers and 5 field stones, published in Kathy Brooks Jones, Buffalo Creek Chronicles, Vol. I, 1984, page 25. On 9 March 1992, Will and Audrey Heiser noted 12 partially legible grave markers and 31 field stones. Boe Goodwin visited the site on 11 Oct 2019 and provided several photographs.

      Hazards: Logging operations. In the 1990s loggers left grove of pines around cemetery.

      Significant events: The community believes this graveyard to be one of the first locations of Christian Chapel and graveyard of this church. (Harrington, p. 76).
