      In 1972, W. Harold Broughton recorded 4 grave markers. The marker for Rev. William Avent was moved to the vestibule of the Buckhorn Methodist Church (T40.1). In February 1984, Martha Harrington reported this cemetery. It is recorded in Kathy Brooks Jones Buffalo Creek Chronicles, Vol. I, 1984, pages 2 and 174.
