      On 7 February 1995, Garrow and Associates, Inc., made a comprehensive archaeological survey of the site, which determined that there were 30 grave sites noted by depressed areas and/or field stones. On 16 February 1995, the site was inspected by Will M. Heiser. An extensive search of property deeds and contact with knowledgeable neighbors did not reveal the persons buried in this cemetery or the family who originated the cemetery.

      Restricted access: Yes. Private property
      Overgrown and not easy to identify: Yes.
      Enclosed: No.
      Number of readable markers: 0.
      Hazards: Development of lot.
      Significant events: Deed IQ-580, 14 Mar 1942, for 43 acres from H. M. Poe to J. Lonnie Copeland says "Save and except from the above one-half of an acre, more or less, which is reserved as a family graveyard.".
      Miscellaneous information: Comprehensive archaeological survey made by Garrow and Associates, Inc. Some sunken grave sites; many sites with unmarked fieldstones. Site visited by Will M. Heiser, 16 Feb 1995..
