      Location - Hickory Mountain Township. Cemetery is atop a hill in the middle of a large pasture. The entrance to the farm is near the house at 865 Carter Brooks Road.

      On 11 May 1999, Howard Brooks and Charlie Thomas took Will Heiser to this cemetery, where they recorded 15 grave markers, all members of the Dark Family.

      Condition: Poorly maintained. No woody growth inside the cemetery enclosure, but tall grass obscures some markers. Many markers broken and/or fallen over.

      Enclosed explanation: Wire fence.
      Enclosed conditions: Fair. Keeps livestock out.

      Miscellaneous information: On 11 May 1999, Howard Brooks and Charlie Thomas took Will Heiser to this cemetery where they recorded 15 graves, all members of the Dark family. On 12 Apr 2014, Dewey Dowd took Jim and Bev Wiggins to the cemetery. They photographed all of the markers, found two additional markers not previously recorded, and made several corrections.
