Located near entrance to East Carteret High School, 3263 US Highway 70 E and 4.1 miles northeast of the intersection of NC 101 and US 70.

In 2006, the cemetery was about 250 ft down an unpaved lane, the entrance of which was secured by a chain. A drainage ditch ran down the north side of the lane and a farm field bordered the south side. The cemetery was near the southern edge of the lane at the base of a small tree. Only one tombstone was found, broken and lying face up. It was likely placed there in the 20th century in memory of a mother and son.

Note 1: According to the landowner, Ralph Thomas of Beaufort, members of the Simpson and Piver families are buried here.

Note 2: Virginia F. Merrill, wife of George William Davis, is buried in the Tuttle's Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery.

Surveyed by Robert G. Lewis of Cary, NC in October 2006.
