      Location - off West Beaufort Rd, 0.5 mile west of Hwy 101, behind house number 566.


      West Beaufort Road intersects with NC 101 from the west just north of US 70. When surveyed, a gravel road about 0.2 mi long led to the cemetery.

      Note: In addition to the graves listed, there are also at least three small unmarked stones in the cemetery, which, according to Mrs. Minnie Simpson of Beaufort, daughter of Eva Joyner and Joseph L. Stanton and widow of William Gaston, Sr., were placed there by her father to mark the graves of children of carnival workers who died while in Beaufort and were denied burial in town. Another grave is said to be that of a very tall woman named Marcie? Flanagan. According to Mrs. Simpson, her father could never say "No", and therefore the Marshall Family Cemetery contains the graves of a handful of people who were not blood kin - Irene Underwood.
