The cemetery is located at 6364 Snow Camp Rd. (SR-1004) adjacent to the intersection with Bethel-South Fork Rd. (SR-2328) The cemetery is adjacent to the church

Bethel United Methodist Church was est. abt. 1836 near the location of the "Bobbet House" where services were previously held. The first wooden building was erected in 1842. A new building was erected in 1879, and added to in 1916 and again in 1930. In 1948 the building was raised over a basement and covered with a brick veneer.
